Raphaela Armbruster (UPC Admission Tutor)
Raphaela Armbruster studied in France at the Ecole Normale Supérieure where she majored in Modern Literature. As a postgraduate, she obtained an MA in French poetry, followed by an MA in Foreign Languages and Pedagogy and an MPhil in Sociolinguistics at the Sorbonne University.
She moved to the UK in 2007 and taught the Modern European Culture module on the UPCH programme and later became the Course Coordinator. She is now the course Admissions Tutor.

Yuxuan He (alumna)
Yuxuan is from China. She graduated from the UCL Undergraduate Preparatory Certificate in 2020 and was awarded the UPCH progression scholarship for achieving the best academic performance at the end of the course. She has just started the first year of her Bachelor’s degree in Law at UCL.

Ziru Li (alumna)
Ziru is from China. She graduated from the UCL Undergraduate Preparatory Certificate in 2018 and has just started the final year of her Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences with Quantitative Methods at UCL.

David Dai (alumnus)
David is from China. He graduated from the UCL Undergraduate Preparatory Certificate in 2009 and progressed to an MSci in Chemistry at UCL. He also holds an MPhil in Organic Synthesis from Yale University.
David joined Monitor Deloitte, a world leading consulting firm in 2015 in Shanghai China, mainly focusing on business strategy projects for global conglomerates in the chemical and pharmaceutical industry.

Jingting Yan (alumna)
Jingting is from China. She graduated from the UCL Undergraduate Preparatory Certificate in 2018 and has just started the final year of her Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science at UCL.

Martin White (Marketing & Business Development Coordinator)
Martin holds a BA in English and Journalism and taught English overseas for three years before joining UCL in 2005. Having worked in UK, EU and international recruitment for UCL degree programmes, he now manages the Marketing and Communications team at UCL Centre for Languages & International Education.
